The recipient of a master's degree in career and technical education (CTE) from the University of Idaho, Nichole Thiel currently works in the hospitality industry. She is a former CTE teacher at Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. During her time as an educator, Nichole Thiel taught numerous subjects, including career development.

Career development is a continuous, lifelong process to meet individual goals and objectives in work settings. The process begins when people recognize their potentials and capabilities, as well as their interests. Then, individuals may seek subsequent training to acquire the skills needed for their chosen career paths.
